Kaye co-authored, with UCI Professor Harold Koopowitz, "Plant Extinction: A Global Crisis," which has been translated into five languages, and also was Associate Editor and a contributing author of " Newport Beach: The First Century," a historical book commissioned by the City of Newport Beach.

Kaye serves on the boards of the National Association of Women Business Owners, OC Chapter (NAWBO-OC) and the Orange County Bar Foundation, and is a founding member of the Women's Philanthropy Fund of United Way. Kaye's firm is a member of the Tustin Chamber of Commerce and a corporate sponsor of Financial Executives International-OC (FEI-OC). For the past 6 years, HKA has fielded a team in the MS Walk in OC; HKA's Ruby's Raiders - named after Hilary's mother -- has ranked among the top 4 corporate teams for the past 3 years.

She has received numerous awards from the Orange County Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, as well as the Orange County Press Club.

In her off-hours, Kaye travels and scuba dives with her husband, works out at the gym, treks to L.A. for Dodgers baseball games, reads, and enjoys her home and office cats.
