As CEO of HKA, Inc. Marketing Communications, Hilary Kaye provides the overall vision and strategic direction for HKA. Spearheading the agency’s business development function, she is particularly adept at identifying new client challenges, recognizing how HKA can support business objectives and generate measurable results that move the needle. Hilary also is known as a natural connector – finding innovative ways of uniting HKA clients to yield even greater results – and genuinely enjoys symbiotically pairing organizations.
As HKA has grown since opening its doors in 1986, Hilary has maintained its boutique feel, providing highly accountable service to clients and media and an environment where team members are respected and encouraged. Along the way, the agency has nabbed dozens of industry awards, and Hilary has been honored with several, personally. Among her standouts are the 2008 Ethics in America “Pillar in Business” Award and the 2004 NAWBO-OC Remarkable Women Award. Both are related to integrity in business, which Hilary views as her most significant trait. She also is a recognized community philanthropist and volunteer, particularly as a longstanding supporter of the MS Society.
Hilary holds a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and an undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara. Prior to launching HKA, she worked at UC Irvine in the Public Information Department as assistant director.
